About Me
To explain a person through a single idea is, perhaps, impossible. How could words fully describe something that can only be experienced in relationship, felt in presence, and understood over time?
In every authentic encounter, Sina offers something of herself while inviting others into her world.
As far as language can take us.
Everything beyond that must be experienced. This is where connection begins.
To offer a glimpse into who she is, Sina turns instead to the experiences that have shaped her. They continue to inform not only how she understands the human mind, but also how she meets each person who enters her work.
The Path
Sina Holzerland is a clinical psychologist, psychological consultant, hypnotherapist, and yoga teacher whose work integrates evidence-based psychology with body-oriented therapeutic approaches.
She studied Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at the Medical School Hamburg, where she developed a particular interest in neuroscience, mindfulness-based approaches, and the relationship between psychological processes and embodied experience. Alongside her academic training, she completed advanced training in Clinical Hypnosis at the Milton Erickson Institute in Hamburg, where she deepened her understanding of how perception, attention, and unconscious patterns shape human experience and how lasting psychological change can unfold.
Throughout her education, Sina became increasingly drawn to approaches that recognize the body as an essential part of psychological work. This curiosity eventually led her beyond the therapy room and into years of study and practice across Europe, Africa and South East Asia, where movement, breath, and contemplative traditions became a natural extension of her clinical work.
Her path in Jivamukti Yoga includes a total of 875 hours of training, including a 500-hour apprenticeship under Conor Byrnes, resident teacher at Jivamukti Yoga Paris. Rather than viewing yoga as separate from psychology, Sina approaches it as another language through which emotional patterns, nervous system regulation, and self-awareness can be explored. Her work brings psychological understanding directly into embodied practice, creating spaces where insight is not only understood intellectually but also experienced physically.
Alongside her psychological and movement-based training, Sina also studied sound with Laura Israel. Sound is occasionally woven into her work as a complementary practice, supporting presence, regulation, and deep rest.
Today, Sina offers psychological consultancy, clinical hypnosis, and yoga in individual sessions, groups, retreats, and workshops. She works with clients online and internationally, creating integrative spaces that combine psychological depth with embodied practice. As for today, she is a residential teacher at Jivamukti Yoga Paris.
